Super Bowl, March Madness, football games, basketball games, baseball season…there is always an excuse to host a game day gathering….and no game day is complete without a spread of delicious BBQ that is sure to please even the toughest crowd!

Pulled Pork Sliders

Ingredients:

  • 12-pack of Hawaiian slider buns
  • 1 lb bag of our Carolina Pulled Pork
  • Carolina-style Red Slaw – see our recipe here
  • Piedmont BBQ Co. Mild or Hot BBQ Sauce
  • 3-4 oz Butter
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder

This game day BBQ idea is a classic. Slice buns in half. Place bottom buns in a 9x12 oven-safe dish. Cover with heated up pulled pork (about 1-2 oz per bun). Drizzle Piedmont BBQ Mild or Hot Sauce on top. Cover with red slaw and put the top buns on top. Melt butter and add garlic powder. Baste top of buns with butter and garlic powder. Cover with tin foil and then heat up in oven at 350 degrees for 15-20 mins until piping hot. Makes 12 sliders.

Shredded Chicken Tacos

Ingredients:

This game day BBQ idea is more of a fusion concept: BBQ + Mexican. Warm tortillas on the grill, cast-iron skillet, in the oven or microwave. Cover tortillas with heated up buttermilk brined pulled chicken (about 2-3 oz per tortilla). Sprinkle with chopped onion, cilantro, radishes. Squeeze with a slice of lime. Our 1 lb. bag makes about 8-10 tacos.

Shredded Chicken Hot Buffalo Dip

Ingredients:

Preheat oven to 350. Let cream cheese come to room temperature. Mix all ingredients together in a stainless steel bowl. Pour into an oven-safe baking dish. Bake for 20 minutes or until melty and warm. Serve with fritos, tortilla chips and fresh veggies like celery and carrots.

Meatball Sub Sandwiches

Ingredients:

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Boil a large pot of water to a boil on the stove top. Once boiling, pop the meatball bag in for 15 minutes to warm them up.

Meanwhile, place a sauce pot on med-high heat. Heat up a tablespoon of olive oil, then add your favorite marinara sauce to the pot.

Once your meatballs are done boiling, cut the bag open and pour meatballs into the pot of marinara.

Cut sub buns in half and place in the preheated oven for 5 - 7 minutes or until slightly toasted.

Once the sauce is warm and the buns toasted, spoon several meatballs onto your sub buns. Top with extra marinara sauce and a few sprigs of basil per sandwich.

Our 8 oz. bags will make one hefty sandwich. Enjoy!

Brunswick Stew and Cornbread

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb bag of Piedmont BBQ Brunswick Stew
  • Spring Onions
  • 1 box cornbread mix of choice (and cornbread ingredients)

Bring a large pot of water to a boil and place the Brunswick Stew in the pot for about 15 minutes. Once Brunswick Stew is done, remove from water and pour in a serving bowl. Garnish with thinly sliced spring onions.

In the meantime, follow instructions on cornbread box. Mix ingredients and pour into cast iron skillet or other pie shaped oven-safe dish. Bake at 375 for 20 mins.

Our 1 lb. bag will make about 6 servings. Enjoy!
